1. PAYMENTS

Payments will be made to Reliance Wood Craft, LLC by Check, Money Order, Wire Transfer or Cash. Payment by check will require clearance prior to beginning the project. 

a.     Project Commencement

Upon receipt of signed quote and $1500 deposit, we will begin your drawings and plans for your boat. These drawing will require approval prior to beginning your project. This $1500 payment is NON-REFUNDABLE. Your project will be placed in the que and you will be notified of the start date. 

b.     First Payment

The first payment will be 25% of the Quoted Price less the $1500 deposit. You will receive an update two-weeks prior to the Project Commencement Date and this payment must be received prior to any work commencing. Should no payment be received within 7-days after the agreed Commencement Date, your spot will be moved and the customer next in line will take your slot. This will significantly delay your delivery date by several months. 

c.     Hull Completion Payment

The second payment will be 25% of the Quote Price. This payment will be due upon the Completion of the Hull. Completion of the Hull constitutes a complete Hull; Glassed Seams, Faired Hull, Bottom and Sides Primered and the Bottom Coat Paint applied. The Topsides (from the Waterline to the Gunwales) will not be painted yet. You will be notified approximately two-weeks prior to Hull Completion. A photo of the Hull will be provided, or, with a scheduled appointment, a visual inspection can be done at our workshop. Additional work will not proceed until this payment is received. Should no payment be received within 7-days after the Hull Completion Date. Your Hull will be moved to covered storage and await payment. Your spot will be moved and the customer next in line will take your slot. This will significantly delay your delivery date by several months. If no payment is received within 30 days of the Hull Completion Date, your project and this contract will be considered Cancelled. 

d.     Final Payment

The final remaining payment of 50% of the quoted price will be due upon delivery. Delivery will take place in Reliance, Tennessee unless previously arranged and paid for based on the Delivery Rate of $2.00/mile (one way).

2.    Change Orders 

Once the project has started, any changes and/or requests not outlined in this quote will require a Change Order and be billed at an hourly rate of $100/hr plus any materials necessary to facilitate such change. The changes will be quoted and agreed upon by both parties prior to any work being commenced. 

3.    Delivery

  1. Delivery will occur at our workshop in Reliance, Tennessee. A final inspection prior to delivery for final acceptance will take place at this time. Reliance Wood Craft, LLC will ensure the boat is complete and ready for delivery in accordance with this contract and any previously approved Change Orders, however, if there are any discrepancies at this time, Reliance Wood Craft, LLC will make every effort to correct these discrepancies in a timely manner. 
  • If remote delivery, not in Reliance, Tennessee, is chosen, a full Live Video review will be done prior to delivery to ensure the customer is happy and no changes need to be made. Once arriving at the Remote Delivery location, any changes that need to be made will result in re-delivery at our workshop in Reliance, Tennessee or payment of an additional Delivery Fee. 

4.    Contract Cancelation

For any reason that Reliance Wood Craft, LLC is unable to complete your project you will receive a 100% refund. 

Should the payment schedule not be fulfilled as agreed to, this contract will be cancelled. 

  1. If the contract is cancelled prior to work commencing, the $1500 will be NON-REFUNDABLE
    1. If the contract is cancelled after the Project Commencement Date, yet before the Hull Completion Date the 25% deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE and any work completed is forfeited by the customer
    1. If the contract is cancelled after the Hull Completion Date, yet before the Delivery Date
      1. Cancellation prior to receiving the 25% Hull Completion Payment
        1. The option to pay the 25% Hull Completion Payment and receive the Completed Hull as detailed above (1.c.)
        1. Arrangements must be made to pick up the Hull at our workshop within two-weeks of Notice of Cancellation
        1. The Hull must be retrieved within 30-days. Failure to pick up the Hull within 30-days will result in forfeiture of the Hull. 
      1. Cancellation after receiving the Hull Completion Payment
        1. All work completed will be billed at $100/hr + (Cost of Materials + 15%)
        1. Upon receipt of payment, arrangements must be made to pick up the boat at our workshop within two-weeks of Notice of Cancellation
        1. The boat must be retrieved within 30-days. Failure to pick up the boat within 30-days will result in forfeiture of the boat. 

Failure to remit payment for completed work within 30-days after Notice of Cancellation will result in forfeiture of the boat.
